quality changed

This is a chain I have been used to using in one of my most successful lines. This chain was on back order for quite some time and then when I got it I had noticed a difference in three things: 1) some of the links were broken causing a lot of waste on our end 2)the weight of the chain was lighter 3) it seemed to have a film or something left on the chain. I called the company to explain my disappointment. i was told it would be looked into but I still have not received a phone call or anything regarding this concern.
