This silver plated 17 gauge memory wire is great for making leather bracelets that form to your wrist.  Each piece is pre-cut in 7" lengths.  This wire makes an average "one size fits most" bracelet. The wire core cuff bracelets fit best on an average to large wrist, as the memory wire cannot be made smaller. Do not cut the wire smaller. This will create a larger opening in the cuff, it will not result in a smaller bracelet.

To insert the wire into the leather, it is best to cut the leather to 7". Then begin feeding the wire through one side of the leather, curling the leather into a circle to follow the natural curve of the wire piece. Please see example photo. If the wire seems stuck, try wiggling it and curling the leather back and forth.
