For over 30 years, Best Beads has supplied jewelry designers, manufacturers, and small businesses with quality leather, chains, findings, and jewelry-making components.
Based in Florida, we are a family-owned wholesale supplier and manufacturer. We proudly manufacture our silk products and select leather products, including deerskin lace, right here in Florida, while sourcing unique jewelry components from trusted manufacturers around the world.
Our Story
Our journey began in 1994 when our founder, Ray, discovered beads at a surf expo and began importing them from South Africa. Originally known as Primitive Earth Beads, the business grew from humble beginnings into an established jewelry supply company.
We've come a long way since mailing customers catalogs on CDs and receiving orders by fax!
In 2005, the family established Best Beads Chain & Leather, expanding our wholesale business. In 2011, we introduced the popular Regaliz® Leather Bracelet System, helping establish Best Beads as a recognized supplier of leather jewelry components.
In 2020, we closed our original business to focus entirely on wholesale customers.
Today, Best Beads is owned and operated by Ray's son and daughter, Graham and Wendy, continuing the family's commitment to quality, value, and personal service.
