This version updated in 2020 is an old favorite, redesigned at a new factory to be more durable. Made for use with one looped piece of 5mm flat leather, or multiple strands of 1.5-2mm round leather. The button top is a decorative element on its own, or you can use the holes to attach your own pieces such as buttons, beads, ribbons, or pompoms.
These ends cannot be crimped. You will need to use a super glue to glue in the leather.
