This slider bead features a crimpable back. After you have arranged your sliders on the leather, lay flat the leather face down on your work surface. Use a pointed metal tool (such as an awl) to press the back (the dot is your target!) and press crimp it in place. See the last picture for how it will look.
Crimp sliders make excellent companions to focal sliders or multi slider designs that otherwise might shift on the leather. They can replace o-rings, and be used as a design element.
