This 4-hole piece works to create a slide clasp for 1mm cord. Pass each strand through 2 holes, then secure the end with a knot or small bead.
This piece must be used with a flexible cord that can slide. It does not work well as a clasp for 0.5mm leather since it won't easily slide, but it could be knotted or worked into your 0.5mm leather cord design as a bead or focal point. You could also weave this piece with wire.
