Weaving Leather with Sliders

How to Create a Statement Bracelet with Leather and Metal Sliders

Not sure what to do with a chunky slider? These large, open pieces can work as a frame to weave strands of leather in and around. Try cutting a few pieces of leather a little longer than normal - about 8" - and play with the different ways they can fit through the openings! You want to make sure you have extra leather to work with, since the weaving can use up a bit of the leather length. There are no rules or a "right" way to do this - just have fun creating a unique new statement bracelet!

If your multiple strands of leather are becoming unwieldy, use small plain sliders on either side of your chunky frame to corral them. This will also help you keep the ends together while you glue them into the clasps.
