Simple Leather and Beading Techniques to make a Mixed Media Bracelet
Mixed media designs are some of our favorite things to see! Leather can be used with so many other materials you already have in your beading stash. We have a few components that are specifically designed to combine leather with strung beads for an easy, secure bracelet that is sure to wow your customers.Leather + Beading Magnetic Clasp and Slider
These two unique components work together to help you create a leather bracelet with a strand of strung beads. The glue-in leather hole will fit 5mm flat leather or multiple strands of small round leather. The tiny hole will accommodate a headpin or wire of about 20-22 gauge, or you can use elastic cord.
Leather Bridge Bead End Cap
These leather end caps feature a regular sized glue-in leather area on one side, and a small hole for beading on the other. Use them to easily transition from strands of beading to leather. Then you can use a leather clasp to finish the bracelet. We carry this piece in 4 sizes and encourage you to have fun and experiment with these!!
Above bracelet features 3mm leather and one strand of beads. Below features the 10mm version with three holes, which is available by special request!
