The diameter of this leather is actually closer to 5 mm than 6 mm. I feel that the weave is a bit loose as well.

This is absolutely beautiful leather. I use it in two of my mens pieces, and my customers love it. Over time, the leather softens, as quality Italian leather does, and sort of molds to the wrist, so it's very comfortable to wear. The leather is consistent in size (6mm), the braiding is uniform and tight - the colors are gorgeous.
